Assessment Audit

Assessment audits help to confirm that an employer’s Annual Employer Statements are correct and that they are in the correct Newfoundland Industrial Classification code.  An audit typically includes a review of financial records, classification and contractor information. 

If your account has been chosen for audit, you will be contacted by one of our Assessment Auditors who will let you know what information they need and how to get it to them. An audit also normally involves an on-site visit. If this is not possible, financial records can be sent to us by email, encrypted file or dropped off at one of our offices.
