Request a Review of a Decision

Workers have a right to request a review of a decision on their claim.

If you disagree with a claim decision, you can request an internal review.  To do this, please send a written request stating the reasons for your dissatisfaction within 30 days of receiving our decision. It’s important to note that the internal review process is not intended as a second look at the entire claim but rather to review specific errors or oversights.

After completing the internal review, we will send you our final decision in writing. If you still disagree, you have 30 days from the date of the decision to request an external review from the Workers’ Compensation Independent Review Board (WCIRB).

For more information on the process to have a decision reviewed , please see our Internal Review brochure.
