Fatality
WorkplaceNL may provide burial payments and benefits to the worker’s dependants in the event of a fatality due to work-related injury or illness.
If a fatal incident happens at work, employers are required to:
- Report the incident to Occupational Health and Safety Division, Service NL, at 709.729.4444
- Submit a Fatality Report (Form 7FR) to WorkplaceNL
