About the Targeted Research Stream
From time to time, we may issue requests for proposals (RFPs) on specific workplace health and safety-related research questions. We assess each proposal based on the criteria of each RFP.
We issue no more than one RFP each year and approve only one proposal per RFP. WorkplaceNL reserves the right to defer or cancel an RFP.
Researchers respond with one proposal (unlike the general research stream, which requires a preliminary and a full proposal). We offer up to $200,000 in funding and do not set a maximum project duration.
The RFP and subsequent funding agreement set eligibility requirements, payment milestones and other requirements. The RFP also lists all deliverables for a research question, including a final report for publication on our website and a presentation to WorkplaceNL.
