2020 Research Projects and Reports

In 2020, WorkplaceNL funded the following research project:

• University of Calgary – Work Injuries and Mental Health. Research funding supported further understanding of the relationship between workplace injuries and mental health. This research, which concluded in 2022, involved three studies:
  • Study 1 – A meta-analysis of existing knowledge
  • Study 2 – Asking why and how mental health problems occur alongside work injuries
  • Study 3 – How does mental health change over time in relation to work injury
