WorkplaceNL seeks input on chronic stress due to workplace violence and harassment

St. John’s, NL – WorkplaceNL invites input on a review to consider expanding Policy EN-18 Traumatic Mental Stress to include chronic stress resulting from workplace violence and harassment.

A discussion paper outlining the legislative and policy context, as well as definitions and statistics, is now available here. Interested parties are asked to provide written submissions by email to by February 6, 2024.

This review is the result of a recommendation from the most recent statutory review of the workplace health, safety and compensation system.
