WorkplaceNL seeks input on chronic stress due to workplace violence and harassment

St. John’s, NL – WorkplaceNL invites input on a review to consider expanding Policy EN-18 Traumatic Mental Stress to include chronic stress resulting from workplace violence and harassment.

A discussion paper outlining the legislative and policy context, as well as definitions and statistics, is now available here. Interested parties are asked to provide written submissions by email to feedback@workplacenl.ca by February 6, 2024.

This review is the result of a recommendation from the most recent statutory review of the workplace health, safety and compensation system.
