To further enhance security measures to protect our clients’ personal information, we have implemented a secondary verification process on encrypted emails sent to workers, vendors and health care providers called two-factor authentication.
What is two-factor authentication?
Two-factor authentication (2FA) is an enhanced security method that requires two forms of identification to access resources and data. 2FA gives us the ability to further safeguard our clients’ information.
What is changing?
WorkplaceNL has been using FortiMail email encryption for sensitive and confidential information since April 2024. Now, we are adding an extra layer of protection by adding 2FA.
Moving forward, when clients receive an encrypted email from us, they will need to complete a two-step verification process to access the encrypted content.
