Advisory: New in-class instruction guidelines for trainers and training providers during COVID-19

St. John’s, NL – WorkplaceNL has issued new guidelines for WorkplaceNL-approved trainers and training providers so they can provide in-class instruction for safety certifications as with live with COVID-19.

The guidelines include direction on maximum class sizes, maintaining physical distancing, demonstrations of tools or equipment, hygiene, sanitation and other measures.

WorkplaceNL-approved trainers and training providers are to follow these guidelines as they prepare for and resume certification safety training under NLife with COVID-19’s Alert Level 4. The guidelines, in effect until further notice, are available on workplacenl.ca or at the link below.

The measures are to protect the health of students, trainers and the public.
