Violence in the workplace is a serious issue, and employers have a legislative responsibility to protect their workers from injury when there is a risk of violence. On January 1, 2020, Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Regulations were amended to expand the definition of violence and all workplaces to have a harassment prevention plan.
