Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is one method to protect the worker from injury or illness. It includes items such as hard hats, protective clothing, gloves, face shields, eye protection and footwear. When a hazard assessment determines PPE is required, a process for the proper selection, use, inspection, cleaning, maintenance, storage and training of users is required. Join in our discussion of employer and worker responsibilities when using PPE and when it is appropriate to use as a hazard control.
Note: This webinar covers the PRIME Path 2 requirements for PPE.
