Hearing Conservation
Approximately 50% of WorkplaceNL occupational health claims are hearing loss-related due to hazardous noise in the workplace. Where hazardous noise levels cannot be reduced to safe levels, and workers must wear hearing protection, employers are required to implement hearing conservation programs.
