2021 Employer Health and Safety Awareness Survey
Occupational Health and Safety Awareness Survey
WorkplaceNL, in partnership with the Newfoundland and Labrador Statistics Agency (NLSA), is conducting a survey of health and safety awareness among employers in Newfoundland and Labrador.
Given the importance of this initiative and to ensure the information collected is as accurate and comprehensive as possible, participation in the survey is mandatory as detailed in the Statistics Agency Act, which is provincial legislation governing the collection and protection of information relevant to the province.
At the bottom of your letter you will find a web address and a PIN number to complete the survey. Simply type the web address, exactly as shown, into any internet browser and enter the PIN in the space provided to access the survey.
If you have any questions concerning privacy or confidentiality, have difficulty accessing or completing the survey, or would like to be sent a link electronically, you can contact the Newfoundland and Labrador Statistics Agency at NLSASurveys@gov.nl.ca.
The survey will take 10 to 15 minutes to complete. WorkplaceNL receives only a final report of the overall survey results. The results will help us to develop programs to address gaps in health and safety education and identify priority areas that require attention. Our goal is to help employers in our province to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses.
If you have any questions about the survey, please call 709.778.1000 or 1.800.563.9000.
