Notice: Services During Possible Postal Disruption
Tuesday, September 25, 2018
WorkplaceNL is committed to minimizing any inconvenience to our clients and service providers due to the potential disruption in mail services in Newfoundland and Labrador. Canada Post has advised that a disruption in mail delivery could begin on Wednesday, September 26.
Payments issued via direct deposit will not be affected.
All injured, employers and vendors/service providers who are not registered for direct deposit are encouraged to do so now. You may do so by submitting a completed
Direct Deposit Enrollment Form
. This will ensure that you receive payments without interruption or delay.
Employers and service providers are encouraged to use our
connect online services
to submit forms and other information to WorkplaceNL. Employers may also keep their account up-to-date by using pre-authorized debit, paying in person or through their financial institution.
Completed forms that are time-sensitive can be submitted using the fax number provided on the form or can be dropped off at any of our locations across the province.
We will continue to use Canada Post as long as the dispute does not impact Newfoundland and Labrador.
WorkplaceNL will continue to monitor the situation, and provide further information as required.
If you have any questions, please call 1.800.563.9000.
